Becci Ellis became the fastest women on a conventional motorcycle setting a world record of 264.1 mph on 17th August 2014. However, she did not stop at this. With a team of experts, she turned to Manchester Metrology to find a solution for reducing her motorcycles aerodynamic drag. In order to succeed there was a need to gather highly accurate data and this came through the use of the FARO Edge ScanArm HD.
